I love lights and sparkle and glimmer and shimmer as much as anyone, but I think nature can fit the bill for “festive” as well.
Today’s Twitter #FriFoto theme is just that; festive. My mind turned to this one recent favorite snapshot I took of nearby Lake Fulmore after a fresh snowfall. It shows what you can enjoy if you take the mere moments required to stop the car and breathe in the beauty.

This photo is particularly meaningful to me as this will likely be my last winter residing in my beloved Idyllwild. I’m off to new adventures, yet will always reserve a VIP place in my heart for this eclectic and electric, small town amidst stunning nature and loving friends. I hope you enjoy the serenity and stark beauty of this mountain moment.

Absolutely beautiful Gina – brave decision to move away from it. Hope you will have lots of chances to go back. I feel sad for you…
Thank you, Paul. For getting it. Life has amazing things in store for me and I must allow them in. I know this mountain will always welcome me back, if only for a quick fix belly dance class with my troupe and a hike the next day. Stay tuned to see what's next for me! 🙂 All my best to you in the new year. Gina
Traveling is the best part of anybody's life. It not only gives us hance to be in the vicinity of nature but allows us to unfold the beauty and charm of nature.
Thanks E-NYC. Well put! I couldn't improve on that. Happy traveling! Gina
